Raising funds for Peninsula Hospice Care
Fund raising lunch for Afghan refugees-Sunday February 25th, 2024
The Afghan refugee family, who we have been supporting for the last 2 years, will be cooking a delicious Afghan meal to raise funds so that they can buy a car. All are welcome. The lunch will be held at Mt. Eliza Uniting Church and entry is via donation. For enquiries or if you need transport, please contact Karen-0434727946.
Mt Martha Uniting Peace Trail opening
The official opening of the Peace Trail took place on Saturday May 6th 2023 with the official opening ribbon cutting by Cr Despi O’Connor followed by Trail walk and afternoon tea.
The Trail is open to the community for any interested persons wishing to take time to have some quiet reflection/contemplation whilst undertaking the 350 metre circuit. Multiple places of signposted reflection are encountered along the Trail which is ever-evolving as you observe the changing landscape from our extensive native plantings. Simply look for the entry sign in the south-east corner of the property as you enter.
